WWF Coral Triangle Sea For Sale Campaign

Description: Alarmed by the rate in which marine life in the Coral Triangle in South East Asia is being wiped out by overfishing and the severe lack of funds for better enforcement and conservation, we came up with the Sea For Sale campaign to solicit public funding. The main component of the campaign was a microsite where the public was able to own and protect ‘plots’ of the sea by donating a minimum of US$5. Press ads and a TVC which questioned the best way to spend US$5 were then employed to drive potential donors to the website.
